The Bulletin Hospital for Joint Diseases is always
interested in receiving manuscripts on appropriate topics for
possible publication. Articles may contain clinical or basic
scientific information related to orthopaedic surgery, musculoskeletal,
rheumatological, or neurological diseases.
Manuscript Preparation
Each should be submitted in triplicate and should include a title
page citing the Title of the article, names and academic affiliations
of the authors, the address of the corresponding authors, and
the address for reprint requests. A maximum of five keywords
should be provided on the title page.
The following presentation style should be observed in submitting
manuscripts: Abstract, Materials and Methods, Case Histories
(if applicable), Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References,
Tables, and Legends.
Articles should be typed, double-spaced on 8 ½ x 11 paper
with one inch margins. Simultaneous submission on a high density
DOS computer diskette in either plain text, Word for Windows
or WordPerfect is strongly encouraged. (Macintosh users: save
your files in a DOS or Windows compatible word processor format
then transfer them onto a high density diskette that has been
formatted for DOS.)
Illustrations
Illustrations should be submitted in triplicate as 5 x 7 glossy
photographs, with the principal author's name, figure number,
and an arrow indicating the top of the illustrations written
on back in soft pencil. Digital images can also be submitted
on floppy disk, CD, or Zip disks. Most formats can be accommodated,
